These are a few of the tool experiments and workarounds I’ve shared on Instagram.
I reverse-coiled binding inside a roll of tape to help straighten it. The roll held the binding while I worked against the curl it already had.
This was one of the simpler fixtures I’ve used in the shop.

I use acrylic offcuts for router bases, templates, and jigs. I’ve also shared a router sled base, a side-dot jig, and a modified fret-dressing stick on Instagram.
These projects help me hold a part or guide a tool for a particular operation.

Some involve a small change, like adding a notch to a fret-dressing stick or adjusting how I hold a piece.
